I wanted to experiment with metallic gold paint. I started with a very big brush and lively strokes of gold. I felt the painting wanted to become a landscape.  The expansive beach and reflective sand is reminiscent of my time I spend in St. Augustine, Florida as I watched the sun rise. 24" x 24"
