This original mixed media painting was created with the idea of simplicity. Using only the palette knife for the mountains I tried to create a autumn scene that is married with the cool teal sky and dramatic clouds. Often when we hike it is a chilly, cool day but with a spectacular payoff; a view to behold. Accent colors were added with oil pastels. 11" x 17" x 1" Framed in brushed antique gold metal.
